Sometimes it happens that when we talk to someone for the first time, we feel like we have known them for a lifetime, as much as their sympathy and energy are evident. And this is the case with Renata Brumana, an Italian-Brazilian born in São Paulo and in Florence since 2009. Renata is part of the Cibreo team as a chef at the Florentine restaurant. Unlike her father who was born in Italy and chose Brazil as a place to start a new life, Renata came down to Italy, saving her origins. Before coming here about ten years ago, to change her life and improve her path of self-knowledge, she took a degree in gastronomy in Brazil.
Once she arrived in the country of the dolce vita, she worked a bit everywhere, for example in other restaurants and included as an experience, the production of one of the most famous Brazilian soap operas, “Passione”, in which the script was half-half between cultures – the Brazilian and the Italian. Of course, Renata’s cooking style is Tuscan, since she has been working at Cibreo, in the heart of Florence, for 10 years. As a passion, in addition to pans and the art of cooking, she also has sports and you can often see Renata racing or on her bicycle where she rides on the road. “I found myself here in every sense”, says Renata. Well, we can quickly understand her statement, since her great love was born here: Nina, her daughter!
