Mother of Edoardo and in Italy since 2003, Vanessa Lapolli is a multitasking woman. Graduated in two subjects (Portuguese Language and Literature and Performing Arts) in Brazil, Santa Catarina, it is in the Bel Paese that she is called an entrepreneur, wine taster and journalist. Transforming her life path since she left her homeland was the best decision, as she felt it was time for a change.
Her passion for wines led her to become a member of ONAV (Wine Tasters Organization) and the fact of being a very communicative woman with the soul of an entrepreneur, were the reasons to undertake a new life path. With a lot of courage, Vanessa opened her shop in Milan: VM Events, an agency that organizes events with the aim of offering all that is most beautiful in Brazilian art and culture, through participation in activities. She also holds the position of director of Focus Brasil Milao, one of the most important awards for Brazilians abroad, writes stories of well-known names in sports, music, fashion, etc. and recently, she is the signature of the web TV Prisma 21 that brings together the stories of Portuguese speakers.
For the future, she expects that Italy will give her more beautiful moments like the ones she has already experienced and she hopes for a bright, fair and honest future for her son. She takes example from a phrase with which she tries to convey a very important message to her son: “do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good”.
