Out of place by definition, I have been living in Italy for about seven years. I am Camila Leonelli, a fashion journalist and PR as well as a street style photographer. I studied Fashion Communication and Marketing in Rome and Cool Hunting at Central Saint Martins in London.
I work in Milan as a PR with some of the main brands in the sector, but my true passion is to present the city from a different perspective, without filters and in a real light. Street style photography, together with my background as a photojournalist, have allowed me to tell two different worlds like a fairy tale: that of Fashion Week and the everyday one. They are two cities that coexist, but are distinct from each other.
Why Milan and not Paris? Milan has something avant-garde, a recent and modern history that has changed the very way of doing fashion. Today Milan tells us a story according to which, with identity and courage, you can go far and for me that is the beauty of fashion, the revolution.
